Branded Clothing Box for Premium Apparel Presentation
A Branded Clothing Box is more than a simple package. It is the first branded touchpoint your customer sees before touching the fabric, checking the fit, or experiencing your product. For fashion brands, boutiques, clothing retailers, and online apparel sellers, the right box turns an ordinary order into a premium buying experience.
At Custom Boxes Lab, we design custom clothing boxes that help your apparel look clean, valuable, and retail-ready. Whether you sell shirts, dresses, scarves, activewear, kidswear, luxury garments, or fashion accessories, our packaging gives your products a professional look while supporting safe handling, storage, and delivery.
Packaging That Builds Your Clothing Brand
Your packaging should speak for your brand before your customer opens the box. A well-designed apparel box with your logo, colours, tagline, and finishing details makes your product easier to recognise and harder to forget. This is especially important for online clothing brands where unboxing often becomes part of the customer experience.
We create branded apparel packaging that feels commercial, stylish, and practical. From minimal kraft clothing boxes to luxury rigid garment boxes, every detail can be shaped around your brand image. Clean printing, sharp graphics, premium coatings, and secure structures help your clothing line stand out in retail displays, e-commerce deliveries, and promotional campaigns.
Material Options for Branded Clothing Boxes
Different apparel products need different packaging strength and presentation. That is why Custom Boxes Lab offers material options based on your product type, brand level, and shipping needs.
- Cardstock for lightweight shirts, scarves, accessories, and retail apparel packaging
- Kraft paperboard for natural, simple, and eco-conscious clothing brands
- Corrugated cardboard for online orders, subscription clothing boxes, and shipping protection
- Rigid paperboard for luxury garments, gift sets, influencer PR boxes, and premium fashion packaging
- White SBS board for clean printing, bright colours, and high-end retail presentation
These materials can be customised with smooth printing and strong finishing options so your clothing box looks attractive while staying useful for packing and delivery.
Custom Printing and Finishing That Sells
A plain box may carry your product, but a custom printed clothing box sells your brand. We offer professional printing and finishing options that help your packaging match your fashion identity. You can add your brand logo, product name, care message, social handles, website, QR code, or seasonal artwork to create a complete branded experience.
Popular customisation options include matte coating, gloss coating, soft-touch finish, foil stamping, embossing, debossing, spot UV, window cut-outs, custom inserts, magnetic closure, ribbon detail, and inside printing. These details make your packaging feel more premium without making the design look crowded.
Made for Retail, Shipping, and Unboxing
Our branded clothing packaging is built for brands that want both beauty and function. Retail boxes help apparel look organised on shelves, mailer-style boxes support direct-to-customer shipping, and rigid boxes create a luxury gift-like experience. You can choose the box style, size, colour, material, and finish according to your clothing category.

When measuring a custom box, there are a few technical specifications that must be considered to ensure proper design, manufacturing, and fit for the product. Here are the major technical things to measure a custom box:
Inside Dimensions (Critical for Product Fit)
- Length (L): The longest side of the box measured inside from one corner to the opposite corner.
- Width (W): The shorter side of the box measured inside perpendicular to the length.
- Depth/Height (D or H): Measured inside from the bottom to the top opening of the box. Always specify that dimensions are given in Length × Width × Height.
Outside Dimensions (Important for Shipping & Storage)
- Measure the outer surfaces of the box including material thickness.
- Outside measurements are used for pallet stacking, warehouse spacing, and shipping compliance.
Material Thickness (Board Caliper)
- The thickness of the packaging material (e.g., corrugated board, rigid stock, cardstock).
- Impacts both the internal usable space and external dimensions.
Flap Measurements
- For boxes with flaps (e.g., mailer or shipping boxes), measure:
- Inner flaps: Ensure they meet in the middle without overlapping too much.
- Outer flaps: Allow proper sealing without gaps.
Tolerances
- Account for manufacturing tolerances (usually ±1/16" or ±2mm depending on material).
- Ensure the product fits without being too tight or loose.
Volume Capacity
- Calculate internal cubic capacity (L × W × H).
- Helps in determining how much space the product will occupy and shipping efficiency.
Product Orientation
- Decide how the product sits inside the box and measure accordingly.
- Orientation affects whether length or width is the primary dimension.
Die-Cut Openings or Windows
- Measure exact placement, height, and width for any cutouts.
- Ensure structural integrity when adding windows.
Printing Bleed & Safe Zones
- Include measurements for:
- Bleed area: Extra space beyond the cut line for printing.
- Safe zone: Inner area where critical text or logos should be placed.
Closure Type & Locking Tabs
- Measure slots, tabs, or locks for boxes with custom closures.
- Precision is required to avoid misalignment during assembly.
Packaging Style
- Folds, creases, and scores must be measured for accurate dieline creation.
- Different styles (e.g., RSC, tuck-end, mailer, sleeve) require specific panel measurements.
