Confectionery In-Mold Labels for a Seamless, Premium Finish
Custom Boxes Lab creates confectionery in-mold labels designed to give your candy and
sweet packaging a smooth, high-quality look. Unlike regular stick-on labels, in-mold labels are
fused directly into the container during the manufacturing process, creating a seamless finish
that looks premium and lasts longer. Perfect for candy tubs, sweet jars, and confectionery
containers. This process eliminates the visible edges, bubbles, and misalignment that often
come with traditional labels, giving your packaging a clean, professional look straight off the
production line.
- Seamless finish with no peeling or wrinkling
- Vibrant, long-lasting printing and colors
- Ideal for candy tubs, jars, and confectionery packaging
Durable, High-Quality Materials for Lasting Shelf Appeal
Our team at Custom Boxes Lab uses durable, high-quality polypropylene film to create in-
mold labels that resist moisture, fading, and wear. Since the label becomes part of the
container itself, it stays firmly in place and keeps your packaging looking fresh from production
to the store shelf.
Each label is designed to withstand handling, storage, and transport, making it a reliable
choice for confectionery brands that want packaging to look as good as the product inside.
Because the label is molded into the surface rather than applied afterward, it holds up against
temperature changes, humidity, and repeated handling that candy packaging often faces during
warehouse storage, distribution, and time spent on crowded retail shelves. This added
durability means fewer damaged or misprinted units, saving your business time and money on
replacements or reprints.
Custom In-Mold Labels Designed to Match Your Brand
Custom Boxes Lab believes your confectionery packaging should reflect your brand and
catch the customer’s eye instantly. We offer fully customizable in-mold labels with your choice
of colors, artwork, and design a layout to suit your product line. Add your logo, brand name,
nutritional information, or promotional graphics to create packaging that stands out on retail
shelves. Whether you sell candies, gummies, chocolates, or sweet treats: our custom labels
help build brand recognition and improve shelf presence.
With so many confectionery brands competing for attention, packaging is often the first and
fastest way to communicate quality to a shopper walking past the aisle. Our design team works
with you to translate your brand’s personality, whether playful, elegant, or nostalgic, into a
label that captures attention within seconds. We also support seasonal and limited-edition label
runs, helping you refresh your packaging for holidays or promotional campaigns without
changing your entire production line.

- High-definition graphics for a sharp, professional look
- Available for various container shapes and sizes

Eco-Friendly and Fully Recyclable Packaging Solutions
At Custom Boxes Lab, we are committed to helping your brand meet its sustainability goals.
One of the greatest environmental advantages of in-mold labeling is that both the container
and the label are made of the same polypropylene plastic material. This smart, mono-material
construction means the entire finished sweet tub or candy jar can be fully recycled together
without requiring the consumer to peel off or separate the label first. By choosing our in-mold
labels, you can confidently market your products to modern, environmentally conscious
shoppers who actively seek out green packaging.
- 100% recyclable mono-material packaging
- Supports your brand’s green and sustainable initiatives
- Appeals directly to eco-conscious candy consumers

production process is built to scale, whether you’re a small confectionery brand launching your
first product line or an established manufacturer running high-volume orders across multiple
retail partners. We work closely with each client to ensure consistent quality and color accuracy
across every batch, so your packaging always looks exactly the way you intended.

When measuring a custom box, there are a few technical specifications that must be considered to ensure proper design, manufacturing, and fit for the product. Here are the major technical things to measure a custom box:
Inside Dimensions (Critical for Product Fit)
- Length (L): The longest side of the box measured inside from one corner to the opposite corner.
- Width (W): The shorter side of the box measured inside perpendicular to the length.
- Depth/Height (D or H): Measured inside from the bottom to the top opening of the box. Always specify that dimensions are given in Length × Width × Height.
Outside Dimensions (Important for Shipping & Storage)
- Measure the outer surfaces of the box including material thickness.
- Outside measurements are used for pallet stacking, warehouse spacing, and shipping compliance.
Material Thickness (Board Caliper)
- The thickness of the packaging material (e.g., corrugated board, rigid stock, cardstock).
- Impacts both the internal usable space and external dimensions.
Flap Measurements
- For boxes with flaps (e.g., mailer or shipping boxes), measure:
- Inner flaps: Ensure they meet in the middle without overlapping too much.
- Outer flaps: Allow proper sealing without gaps.
Tolerances
- Account for manufacturing tolerances (usually ±1/16" or ±2mm depending on material).
- Ensure the product fits without being too tight or loose.
Volume Capacity
- Calculate internal cubic capacity (L × W × H).
- Helps in determining how much space the product will occupy and shipping efficiency.
Product Orientation
- Decide how the product sits inside the box and measure accordingly.
- Orientation affects whether length or width is the primary dimension.
Die-Cut Openings or Windows
- Measure exact placement, height, and width for any cutouts.
- Ensure structural integrity when adding windows.
Printing Bleed & Safe Zones
- Include measurements for:
- Bleed area: Extra space beyond the cut line for printing.
- Safe zone: Inner area where critical text or logos should be placed.
Closure Type & Locking Tabs
- Measure slots, tabs, or locks for boxes with custom closures.
- Precision is required to avoid misalignment during assembly.
Packaging Style
- Folds, creases, and scores must be measured for accurate dieline creation.
- Different styles (e.g., RSC, tuck-end, mailer, sleeve) require specific panel measurements.
