Frozen Foods In-Mold Labels Built for Freezer Shelf Impact
Frozen food brands need packaging that can sell fast, stay clean, and hold its look in cold storage. At Custom Boxes Lab, we provide Frozen Foods In-Mold Labels that give your product a polished, retail-ready appearance while keeping the label protected from peeling, cracking, fading, and freezer moisture. These labels are molded directly into the packaging surface, so your branding does not sit on top like a regular sticker. It becomes part of the container, giving your product a smooth, premium, and long-lasting finish.
Commercial Labelling That Makes Frozen Products Look More Valuable
When customers compare frozen meals, ice cream tubs, frozen vegetables, seafood, or desserts, packaging often makes the first decision for them. Our Frozen Foods In-Mold Labels help your product look more professional with sharp graphics, clean colours, and a high-end printed surface. We focus on labels that support shelf appeal, brand trust, and product visibility, so your frozen food packaging can stand out in busy freezer sections.
Whether you want a bold family-size frozen meal design or a clean premium look for frozen desserts, we help you create labels that match your product style and customer expectations.
Material Made for Frozen Food Packaging
We use freezer-suitable polypropylene PP film for in-mold labels because it works well with plastic food containers and supports strong print quality. This material is a practical choice for frozen food packaging because it handles cold conditions, moisture, and regular handling better than standard paper labels. It also gives your container a neat surface without loose edges or wrinkled sticker corners.
- Polypropylene PP film for freezer-safe performance
- Moisture-resistant surface for frozen storage
- Scratch-resistant finish for handling and shipping
- High-definition printing for clear branding
- Suitable for PP tubs, trays, cups, lids, and containers
Custom Designs That Match Your Frozen Food Brand
At Custom Boxes Lab, we understand that every frozen food product needs a different look. A seafood brand may need a fresh and clean style, while ice cream packaging may need rich colours and tempting visuals. Our team helps you customise label size, shape, artwork, colour theme, finish, product details, and branding elements according to your container and market goals.
We can include your logo, flavour name, ingredients area, nutrition panel space, barcode placement, storage instructions, and product highlights in a clean layout. Our goal is to make your packaging look attractive while keeping all important details easy to read.

When measuring a custom box, there are a few technical specifications that must be considered to ensure proper design, manufacturing, and fit for the product. Here are the major technical things to measure a custom box:
Inside Dimensions (Critical for Product Fit)
- Length (L): The longest side of the box measured inside from one corner to the opposite corner.
- Width (W): The shorter side of the box measured inside perpendicular to the length.
- Depth/Height (D or H): Measured inside from the bottom to the top opening of the box. Always specify that dimensions are given in Length × Width × Height.
Outside Dimensions (Important for Shipping & Storage)
- Measure the outer surfaces of the box including material thickness.
- Outside measurements are used for pallet stacking, warehouse spacing, and shipping compliance.
Material Thickness (Board Caliper)
- The thickness of the packaging material (e.g., corrugated board, rigid stock, cardstock).
- Impacts both the internal usable space and external dimensions.
Flap Measurements
- For boxes with flaps (e.g., mailer or shipping boxes), measure:
- Inner flaps: Ensure they meet in the middle without overlapping too much.
- Outer flaps: Allow proper sealing without gaps.
Tolerances
- Account for manufacturing tolerances (usually ±1/16" or ±2mm depending on material).
- Ensure the product fits without being too tight or loose.
Volume Capacity
- Calculate internal cubic capacity (L × W × H).
- Helps in determining how much space the product will occupy and shipping efficiency.
Product Orientation
- Decide how the product sits inside the box and measure accordingly.
- Orientation affects whether length or width is the primary dimension.
Die-Cut Openings or Windows
- Measure exact placement, height, and width for any cutouts.
- Ensure structural integrity when adding windows.
Printing Bleed & Safe Zones
- Include measurements for:
- Bleed area: Extra space beyond the cut line for printing.
- Safe zone: Inner area where critical text or logos should be placed.
Closure Type & Locking Tabs
- Measure slots, tabs, or locks for boxes with custom closures.
- Precision is required to avoid misalignment during assembly.
Packaging Style
- Folds, creases, and scores must be measured for accurate dieline creation.
- Different styles (e.g., RSC, tuck-end, mailer, sleeve) require specific panel measurements.
