Custom Cardboard Carriers for Stronger Product Presentation
Cardboard carriers are more than simple holders. They help your customers carry products easily while giving your brand a clean and memorable look. At Custom Boxes Lab, we create custom cardboard carriers that support product safety, improve shelf appeal, and make takeaway or retail packaging feel more professional.
Whether you sell beverages, candles, jars, bottles, cosmetics, food items, gift sets, or promotional products, our carriers are made to fit your exact product style. You can choose the size, number of compartments, handle shape, board thickness, printing, and finish according to your business needs.
Built for Carrying, Branding, and Retail Use
A good carrier should feel sturdy in hand and attractive at first glance. That is why we focus on structure, balance, and branding together. Our cardboard carriers can be designed for lightweight retail products or heavier items that need extra support. From simple kraft carriers to fully printed branded designs, every option is made to help your product look more valuable.
- Custom sizes for bottles, cups, jars, boxes, and retail products
- Strong handle options for easy carrying
- Single, 2-pack, 4-pack, 6-pack, and multi-product layouts
- Kraft, cardboard, paperboard, and corrugated material options
- Logo printing, brand colours, product details, and promotional artwork
Material Options That Match Your Product Needs
Different products need different levels of strength. For lightweight products, paperboard or cardboard carriers give a neat and cost-effective solution. For heavier bottles, jars, or bulk retail items, corrugated cardboard can add more holding power. Kraft cardboard is also a popular choice for brands that want a natural, simple, and eco-conscious appearance.
Our team helps you select the right material thickness, handle style, and inner structure so your packaging does not only look good but also performs well during carrying, display, and delivery.
Custom Printing and Finishing Options
Your carrier can work like mobile advertising for your brand. When customers carry it outside your store, at events, or during deliveries, your logo and design stay visible. We offer custom printed cardboard carriers with clean artwork placement and professional finishing options to create a premium look.
- CMYK and PMS printing options
- Matte, gloss, and soft-touch finishes
- Foil stamping, embossing, debossing, and spot UV
- Die-cut handles, windows, dividers, and inserts
- Minimal kraft style or full-colour branded design

When measuring a custom box, there are a few technical specifications that must be considered to ensure proper design, manufacturing, and fit for the product. Here are the major technical things to measure a custom box:
Inside Dimensions (Critical for Product Fit)
- Length (L): The longest side of the box measured inside from one corner to the opposite corner.
- Width (W): The shorter side of the box measured inside perpendicular to the length.
- Depth/Height (D or H): Measured inside from the bottom to the top opening of the box. Always specify that dimensions are given in Length × Width × Height.
Outside Dimensions (Important for Shipping & Storage)
- Measure the outer surfaces of the box including material thickness.
- Outside measurements are used for pallet stacking, warehouse spacing, and shipping compliance.
Material Thickness (Board Caliper)
- The thickness of the packaging material (e.g., corrugated board, rigid stock, cardstock).
- Impacts both the internal usable space and external dimensions.
Flap Measurements
- For boxes with flaps (e.g., mailer or shipping boxes), measure:
- Inner flaps: Ensure they meet in the middle without overlapping too much.
- Outer flaps: Allow proper sealing without gaps.
Tolerances
- Account for manufacturing tolerances (usually ±1/16" or ±2mm depending on material).
- Ensure the product fits without being too tight or loose.
Volume Capacity
- Calculate internal cubic capacity (L × W × H).
- Helps in determining how much space the product will occupy and shipping efficiency.
Product Orientation
- Decide how the product sits inside the box and measure accordingly.
- Orientation affects whether length or width is the primary dimension.
Die-Cut Openings or Windows
- Measure exact placement, height, and width for any cutouts.
- Ensure structural integrity when adding windows.
Printing Bleed & Safe Zones
- Include measurements for:
- Bleed area: Extra space beyond the cut line for printing.
- Safe zone: Inner area where critical text or logos should be placed.
Closure Type & Locking Tabs
- Measure slots, tabs, or locks for boxes with custom closures.
- Precision is required to avoid misalignment during assembly.
Packaging Style
- Folds, creases, and scores must be measured for accurate dieline creation.
- Different styles (e.g., RSC, tuck-end, mailer, sleeve) require specific panel measurements.
